How it works

Two lanes. Hard split.

We don't run your business. We run the chase tax — the office work that eats your night and weekend.

1. Send the estimate.

Drop in line items, set a deposit %, hit send. Customer gets a clean PDF and a one-tap signature page. We chase signatures with email + SMS until they sign — or you mark it lost.

Quote chase →

2. Click "Job is finished."

The balance invoice fires automatically. We chase payment with email + SMS on a cadence (day 3, 7, 14, 21, 30) plus call-task reminders for you. The chase stops the second the invoice is paid.

Payment chase →

3. Stay on the tools.

You never picked up the phone. You never wrote a follow-up email. You never wondered if the invoice was past due. The cadence ledger has every send, every reply, every payment recorded.

What ships in $79/mo

The chase engine — and what makes it work.

Six pieces. Tap any card to see it run.

Anti-CRM crew

From contractors who stayed on the tools.

I used to chase three signatures and four invoices every Sunday night. Now I'm in the truck by 7 and the chase runs on its own. I closed two balances last week I would've forgotten about.

The signed quote came in at 9pm while I was at my kid's game. The deposit invoice fired off automatically. I didn't touch a phone. That's the whole pitch right there.

I was paying Jobber $760/mo for my crew. Switched to QuoteFollow on a Sunday. Saved $680 the first month and the payment chase actually got me paid faster than dunning by hand.

The leak

A contractor's money leaks in five places at once.

  • Quotes that go cold in inboxes after “let me think about it.”
  • Invoices that age past 60 days because no one chased them.
  • Recurring service clients who quietly stopped paying.
  • Manual texting and calling that falls to the bottom of the pile after a long day on a roof.

Industry data: contractors wait an average of 83 days to collect after completing a job. We plug the leak — automatically.

The trap

The CRM your friend recommended is the problem.

  • Per-seat pricing. Every new rep is another $80–$200/mo.
  • 9-week onboarding. ServiceTitan's reality. You wanted to chase a quote, not learn enterprise software.
  • Annual contracts. Cancel and they keep billing. Look up Housecall Pro complaints — they're consistent.
  • Feedback black hole. You email support, get a ticket number, and never hear back.

We're not a CRM. We're a chase engine. Two things, done well, at one price.

Common questions

Honest answers, no sales-deck.

Is QuoteFollow a CRM?

No. CRMs try to run your whole business and add overhead. QuoteFollow does two things: chase signatures on your quotes and chase payment on your invoices. That's it. You stay on the tools.

How is this different from Jobber, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan?

Per-seat pricing kills you. A 5-person crew on Jobber is $400+/mo, ServiceTitan onboarding is 9 weeks, and Housecall Pro keeps charging after you cancel. QuoteFollow is one flat $79/mo for your whole team — SMS included, no add-ons — sign up in 5 minutes, cancel any time, no demo call.

What's the dual-cadence chase?

Stage one: contractor sends an estimate → QuoteFollow chases the customer's signature with email + SMS until they sign. Stage two: contractor clicks 'Job is finished' → QuoteFollow chases payment with email + SMS until the invoice is paid in full. The chase stops automatically the moment the money hits.

Will my customers know it's automated?

Every email and text reads like a personal check-in from you. It uses your name, references their estimate or invoice, and looks like a message you'd send. The customer just sees a contractor who actually follows up — not a bot.

Do I have to use it for everything?

No. You can keep using your existing estimating tool and just add the lead/invoice to QuoteFollow for the chase to run. Or you can write the estimate inside QuoteFollow and let the deposit/balance invoices auto-fire on acceptance and on job completion. Your call.

What's the SMS fair-use limit?

$79/mo includes 1,000 SMS sends per month, which covers virtually every contractor at full chase capacity (typical usage is ~100/month). Past 1,000 it's $0.02 per text — you never lose access, you just pay the cost of the texts. No feature gates, no upgrade tier, no per-seat fees.

Does SMS work during the free trial?

No — during your 14-day free trial, the email side of the chase runs end-to-end (every quote and every invoice gets followed up by email), but SMS stays disabled. Twilio number rental and 10DLC fees start the moment a number is provisioned, and we don't want to burn that on accounts that may never convert. The minute your trial converts to a paid subscription, you can pick a local number and SMS turns on.

How do online payments work?

You connect your own Stripe account (5-minute hosted onboarding from Settings → Payments) and customers see a Pay with card or bank transfer button on every invoice. Funds settle to your Stripe account, not ours — there's no per-transaction QuoteFollow fee on top of Stripe's standard processing rates. Already have Stripe? It links in one click.
